Frontend developer, creative technologist, maker.

Hey! I'm Rutger, a frontend developer with 4+ years of experience building digital products, and the founder of Swirski Studio.

I've worked mostly in React, TypeScript and Next.js, building SaaS platforms, design systems, dashboards and product interfaces. I'm comfortable moving between engineering, UI design and product thinking.

Over the last year, I've also been building Swirski Studio: an independent creative practice where I design and construct garments from reclaimed materials. It has become a physical extension of how I already think digitally -- systems, structure, iteration, visual language and craft.

I'm drawn to work that sits between technology and culture: creative studios, design-led products, fashion-tech, tools, platforms and brands with a point of view.
